Reading with Syne Mitchell

I did a reading at the University Bookstore with Syne Mitchell tonight. Another Seattle-local writer, Syne is very good. Her latest book, END IN FIRE, is a fabulous space story set in the near future, and exploring a very realistic set of possibilities about what might happen when we begin to actually run out of oil. Highly recommended reading.

We had a great time reading together, I think especially since we blurbed each other's books.

I remember Vernor Vinge once telling me how much he likes one of Syne's other books, TECHNOGENESIS.

I read from BUILDING HARLEQUIN'S MOON, my novel with Larry Niven.
